Great Annual Slough Clean Up

Join the Columbia Slough Watershed Council, Multnomah County Drainage District, and Levee Ready Columbia for the 12th annual trash-hauling extravaganza! Borrow a boat, bring your own, or sort out trash on land. With your help, the Slough gets cleaner each year!
Clearing garbage and debris from the Slough helps to keep water moving through our conveyance systems. This helps to reduce flood-risk for critical habitat, adjacent communities, and visitors. Interested participants will have the opportunity to tour a section of our 27-mile levee system that helps protect people, property and the environment from flooding along the Lower Columbia River.
Boats, gloves, tools, and Slough mud provided. For this event we welcome volunteers age 14 and up.
